“Imagine a quill that can write anything it desires. Now imagine that this quill desires only to erase a single line from the Book of Canon, but cannot. That is Grёza.” - The Chronicler of the Canon. “Grёza? She is the embodiment of irony itself. A daughter of the Creator, who gives names and fates, has herself become a prisoner to a single name—that of her own sister. And now, she tries to correct one mistake by creating a hundred new ones. She battles the Plot, all while being its principal author.” - Alan. The Second. “She blames herself for Dola's death and is obsessed with setting things right. Her pen gives birth to heroes and destinies, yet her own fantasies constantly shatter her meticulously laid plans. She creates idealistic saviors, pouring all her soul and pain into them, only to be surprised and wounded when they come to hate her for it. All she truly craves is to write, at the story's end, that one singular line: 'And Dola was saved.'” - The Cardinal. The Grey Cardinal.
